  • Sensory Figure:  Students will create a drawing based upon the characteristics of a given historical figure or time period.  
    • Draw a stick figure or person.
    • Dress the character in period clothing
    • Create five sentences based upon the senses that person would experience. What would they smell, see, touch, taste and feel (physically and emotionally)?  These sentences need to show an entire idea of the person and are not necessarily expected to be experienced at the same time.  “I see dead people. I hear people dying. I feel myself dying.  I taste blood because I am dying.  I see people dead all around me.” is not acceptable.
